Mike Dowling is a former federal law clerk with extensive first-chair trial court experience. In addition to his unique insight into the rules, procedures, and customs of the courts of North Carolina, Mr. Dowling has experience in a broad range of civil litigation matters. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dowling has represented hundreds of Plaintiffs and Defendants in civil litigation filed in the state and federal trial courts of North Carolina.

Complex Criminal Investigations & Defense

Mike Dowling assists witnesses through the process of appearing and testifying before federal grand juries. Mr. Dowling also assists individuals in responding to target letters from the federal government and grand jury subpoenas. Mr. Dowling also represents individuals and entities charged with all types of complex crimes in North Carolina’s courts.
